Introduction to Nepal SBI Bank Ltd

For the development of national economy and trade, Government of Nepal has started an open policy related to foreign countries for operating joint venture bank in Nepal. So, in order to provide prompt and appropriate service and to increase the economy, State Bank of India has shown keen interest and responsibilities since 1993 A.D. by opening joint venture bank called Nepal SBI Bank. This organization is mainly handled by State Bank of India, Employee Provident Fund and Agriculture Development Bank.
        Nepal SBI Bank Ltd is a major national level financial services provider engaged in various commercial banking services with a team of 352 employees who move, lend, invest and protect money for over 200,000 customers nationally and worldwide. This bank is a public limited company incorporated with the Office of Company Registrar (OCR), Kathmandu, Nepal on April 28, 1993 under Regd. No.17-049/50 and licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank on July 6, 1993 under license no. NRB/L. Pa. /7/2049/50 and classified as ‘A’ class licensed institution on April 26, 2006 under license No.NRB/I.Pra.Ka.7/062/063.Nepal SBI Bank Ltd, commenced its operation on July 7, 1993 A.D. 
        Now in the 17th year of its operations, the bank has been continuously upgrading the quality of its service delivery with the help of state-of-the-art technology and creating value for all stakeholders.
